Since many years, the DOG-Science Award for Dry Eye and Blepharitis/MGD sponsored by Optima Pharmazeutische GmbH is granted by the German Society of Ophthalmology (Deutsche Ophthalmologische Gesellschaft e.V. - DOG) in cooperation with the Professional Association of German Ophthalmologists (Berufsverband der Augenärzte Deutschlands e.V. - BVA).
